What is the best name brand of quality Triple Sec to buy?

I've tried Rose's Triple Sec, any other brands of better/equal quality?

What is the best name brand of quality Triple Sec to buy?
I believe that Triple Sec is one of those cordials that are most popular from brands such as Hiram-walker and dekuyper. Generics are the way to go there.


Now if you are looking for something a little higher up on the class scale, use a different orange liqueur. Try Grand Marnier or Cointreau. Bothy are very tasty. Beware though, only Cointreau will keep a consistant color as triple sec did, as grand marnier has an orange hue due to the cognac used in it.
Reply:If you go with a name brand you can't go wrong. They are all pretty much the same. If nothing else, buy the most expensive. It won't run you more than 7 or 8 bucks. But if you want quality, pick up a bottle of Cointeau. Not cheap, but doesn't taste cheap either. Makes a great Margarita. Good luck and enjoy my friend.
Reply:If you want to stick to Triple-Sec instead of a high-end orange liqueur like Grand Marnier, etc., use DeKuyper or Hiram Walker but get the higher proof bottlings.


Look for 60 proof instead of the ususl 30pf.


It'll give your drink a little extra kick and won't cost a fortune.
