Who thinks Obama must name Hillary veep in order to stand much of a chance?

Joe Biden will cause a train wreck at some point. None of the others will help turn back McCain's momentum. Unfortunately for Obama, Hillary is the wild card that might save him, it seems to me. Comments?

Who thinks Obama must name Hillary veep in order to stand much of a chance?
I hate to say it but there are jest some people that jest won't vote for Obama, but with Hillary as vp he jest might win. God I hope he dose.
Reply:Hillary brings her own baggage. Hell, she's got an entire baggage train. Though its unlikely there are people who are going to vote for Obama who wouldn't if Hillary is added to the ticket.

I don't see how Biden helps the ticket. He is, as you say, a train wreck waiting to happen.

I don't know that McCain has all that much momentum. He has his own skeletons. The Russia-Georgia conflict helps him, as do slumping gas prices.

All of this is still premature. It is unlikely, though not improbable that Hillary gets the nomination. Stranger things have happened.

I know she is a bit of a dark horse, but I like Kathleen Sebelius. She is more moderate than either Clinton or Obama, which is help he needs. Plus she could help him with mid-western voters, whom the Democrats have not had much luck with lately. And she brings the female factor, which is not to underestimated. A lot of women are still fuming over Hillary's treatment by the media and the DNC. Though in fairness to those two groups, Madam Clinton brought a lot of that on herself. I don't like Obama myself, his economic ideas are bad news, but I do like Kathleen Sebelius, she would be a better VP then he would a president. And it could pave the way for her or another woman to get to the presidency.
Reply:The lastest polls show that Hillary would be 6 points ahead of McCain, while Obama is only 3. Hillary would definitely be an asset to the campaign. But I don't think Obama would want to share the thunder. He would have a running mate who could be more popular than himself. The democratic electorate made a mistake in the primaries and now we have to live with it.

Voted for Hillary all the way!
Reply:I voted for Hillary and will again. I think if you're not Cheney and able to pull strings from behind the scenes, the VP is not much of a job. I am one of the old women who will not vote for him regardless and I think she would do more good in the Senate than as Vice.
Reply:I think it's a good idea. Alot of Hillary supporters are staunch Democrats and a poll came out saying that close to 1/3 of them wouldn't vote for Obama. If Obama were to select Hillary as VP (not likely), I'm sure those voters would reconsider.
Reply:Um idk. It wouldbe a good idea but i believe that hillary is into all or nothing kinda thing like how she ran for prz but she wont be vp just cuz it would be weird to her to be second in power. I thought that she should have gotten the nomintaion in the fist place
Reply:If Obama named Hilary his vp candidate, John McCain would probably skyrocket up the popularity rating. Joe biden isnt much better. I hope he picks Tim kaine. The least bad of his bad choices.

Reply:As a lifetime Republican, I agree with you. He would win this election with Hillary. No doubt in my mind. However, I don't think he wants to "share the glory" so no way will he pick her.
Reply:I always said I'd vote for a ticket with Hillary and Obama or Obama and Hillary, now I guess I'm not going to vote at all...
Reply:Naming Hillary would guarantee he'd have no chance, don't undersestimate how much people dislike her.
Reply:yes, everybody knows that only Hillary can save him, but i麓m sure Hillary is samrt enough to say not, she will be doing all the work whiles he is eating KFC
Reply:Even Hillary has better sense than to align herself with Obama and his train wreck. It is wild that he even got this far. No one can help that campaign and he will not even get close in the polls!
Reply:I think Biden will be fine. Hillary would probably bring in more than she would drive away (most who do not like her are already in the McCain camp) but I do not think she would be the best VP.
Reply:UM I DONT THINK HE MUST NAME HER V.P. BUT I THINK IT WOULD BE EXPECTANT UPON HIM TO NAME HER V.P.
Reply:I think it's the other way around. I think Hillary has to name Barry Prez.
Reply:I do. Biden you mean Mr. Plagiarist!
Reply:You could be correct, but I will not vote for a ticket with Hillary on it.
Reply:well considering that nobody likes hillary, i don't think she'd help at all
Reply:I do.
Reply:I like her for the spot....that should shut it down all the way
Reply:American hater.
