I have asked this question before and I got "dermatologist" and "hairologist" as answers, but i wanted to ask once again to see the results. Your help is greatly appreciated.
What is the technical name for a hair doctor?
There is no "hair doctor". If that would be a title, then I guess I would be one, I am a Cosmetologist. There is no such thing as "hairologist". Yes, a Dermatologist would be your best option, but they don't care about the hair, they work with the skin/scalp. Did you know that hair is just dead skin. So, in some weird way, I guess Dermatologist is your closest answer. " )
Reply:Dunno, but a dermatologist is for skin.
Reply:A derm is a skin doc--- a derm deals with hair- if you are having hair probs start with your primary care, from there see an endo, or a gyno.
