What's the name of a series of old kids books about a floating house or school or maybe bus?

I think it involved spies and possibly Paris, glorious illustrations, they were in my school library but I can't remember much about them, just that I Ioved them!

Reply:That sounds like the magic school bus. This is where the teacher would use the bus to take the kids on magic journeys. The bus could shrink I think.
