I want something kind of silly. The band is modeled after Twisted Sister if that is of any help. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
What's a good name for a fictional eighties hair band in a story I am writing?
I like the name Rusty Britches, idk but if you want to generate a band name online go to yahoo.com then type in band name generator, click on the 1st or 2nd link. I'ts cool, I use them to try and come up with a name for the band i'm starting.
Reply:Take Twisted Sister and call it something like it...for example
Stangled Brother, twirled cousins, mixed twins, knotted siblings, or try using another bands name and changing it from Cinderella, to - Sleeping Beauty or Snow White. Or like Ratt to - Mouse,or rodent, or Squirrel. Or try one like Def Leppard to - Blind Tiger or Mute Lion or Lame Puma. One last one is Great White change to - Perfect Blue orMediocre Orange, or Awesome Yellow. You can go on and on using your imagination.
Reply:Since I can't give you the name my fictional band has...
I've always liked Moonshine as a band name. You can spice it up 80s style by spelling it horribly wrong. So Munshine, Moonshyne, Munshyne, etc. all work well. Following Motley Crue's example and adding an umlaut wouldn't hurt, either. For example, M眉nshine. (I got the 眉 by holding Alt and typing 0252, just so you know.)
Good luck with both your name and your story.
