What is the name of Neptune wife and Posieden wife?
Neptune and poseidon are considered to be the same god. Both are rulers of the sea the Romans based almost all their gods from the greeks exspecially the tweleve olympians. As for poseidon he had many lovers but never a wife he was said to love lots of goddesses, humans and nymphs just like his brother Zeus ( the play boy of ancient greece). His name meant "Husband of the Earth", and as a consort to the Titan Great Goddess Gaia (Mother Earth), Poseidon was originally worshipped as a fertility god. He also loved the gorgon Medusa who was the most beautiful of the gordons but she made the mistake to make love to him in the temple of athena and she was transformed into the monster that we know medusa as today. He also had an ability to over power many of the gods and liked to use force to get what he wanted. He raped the goddess demeter ( the goddess of autumn). When she was distraught and full of grief, searching for her daughter who had just been abducted. Discovering that she had turned herself into a mare and hidden inside a herd of horses to escape his unwanted advances, Poseidon simply transformed himself into a stallion and mounted her. But he did fall in love eventually to the sea goddess Amphitrite which he married her and had two of his children like the famous triton.
Reply:Poseidon has many wives and has fathered many heroes including Theseus, but the wife commonly associated with him was Amphitrite, a nymph and ancient sea-goddess, daughter of Nereus and Doris.

Poseidon is Greek and his Roman counterpart is Neptune. For a time Neptune was paired with Salacia, possibly the goddess of the salt water.
Reply:That's because the god Neptune and Posieden are the same god.

His wives were Amphritrite and Cleito
