What's the name of that scientific table to find out recessive and dominant genes?

The one where you have like 4 boxes and it will have things like BB, bb, Bb etc.

My husband and I want to see what possibilities of eyes/hair color our children could have and we forget the chart name to look it up to figure out how to do it again.

What's the name of that scientific table to find out recessive and dominant genes?
The Punnett square is the box you are looking for to find the probabilities of different genotypes. It would be rather difficult to figure out the probability of eye/hair color though since you need to know your exact genotype that goes along with that color.
Reply:As people have said, it's the Punnet Square.

Keep in mind that eye colour is not dictated by a single gene. A basic 2x2 square will not give you fully accurate results.
Reply:punnet square

but you have to know the dominat and ressive genes before you can do it.
Reply:phenotype and genotype hybrid cross chart
Reply:Punnet Squares! i remember using them for my science project... LOL hahaha
Reply:It's called a Punnet square.

Google away...

Reply:i thought it was just a genetic cross
