I want to make one so i can check what level the flux is around places i hang around in alot i.e. bedroom, office at work or friends house's.
What is the name of the divice that detects magnetic flux?
Try a magnetometer. Why bother, if there is enough to affect anyone, it would already be well known. Magnetic fields are just about every where. Where you live is bathed in magnetic fields of every kind, from those fields produced by motors, to the stove, microwave, radio/TV broadcast stations, your wi-fi system, and anything else that uses electricity. If you are wondering if any of this is hurting you, you are still alive to ask the question, so it should be obvious that you nor anyone else is in any real danger. You might want to expend your energies in something more useful, such as cooling a building with rising heat currents in the air.
